Mid-Century Figgjo Flint “A La Carte” Flameware Cookware – Norway
This authentic mid-century cookware set is part of the iconic “A La Carte” series by Figgjo Flint of Norway, designed by celebrated ceramicist Turi Gramstad Oliver. Produced between the 1960s and 1970s, the set features bold underglaze graphics in vibrant colors with abstract Scandinavian motifs. Each piece is crafted from vitrified flameware ceramic, suitable for use with gas and electric heat sources. The set includes one lidded casserole dish and two handled pour bowls. All items are marked on the underside with: “Figgjo Flameware, A La Carte, Made in Norway,” verifying their authenticity.
Condition
In good vintage condition with some wear and light scuffing from use. The lid shows a few shallow scuffs but no cracks or chips. Underside marks are clearly visible on each piece.
