Sony STR-DG500 AV Receiver w/ Remote – 6.1 Channel, Component Video, Tested
The Sony STR-DG500 is a 6.1-channel AV receiver delivering 110 watts per channel into 8 ohms (1kHz, THD 0.7%), totaling 660W of system power. It supports Dolby Digital EX, DTS-ES, DTS Neo:6, Dolby Pro Logic IIx, and Sony's Digital Cinema Sound for immersive surround sound. The unit features Digital Cinema Auto Calibration (DCAC) with a mono microphone for automatic speaker setup, and offers component video switching (2 inputs/1 output), 2 optical inputs, 1 coaxial input, and multiple analog AV inputs. Additional features include A/V Sync for lip-sync correction, a 5.1-channel analog input, and a 30-preset AM/FM tuner. The receiver comes with the original Sony RM-AAU005 remote control.
