Hand-Painted Our Lady of Guadalupe – Mexican Folk Art on Carved Wood Bowl
This hand-painted Our Lady of Guadalupe is rendered in vivid acrylic on a hand-carved wooden dough bowl half, the Virgin is depicted in traditional form—head bowed, hands in prayer, and framed by a radiant black-and-orange aura. Her green mantle with gold stars and rich magenta robe are classic iconographic elements.
Painted in Mexico and marked accordingly on the reverse, the piece embodies the vibrant aesthetic of Mexican folk art.
