Polish Army Wz.93 Kevlar Helmet — RESAL Marked
This is an original Polish Army Wz.93 Kevlar combat helmet, produced during the 1990s modernization period following the Cold War. Designed in the likeness of the U.S. PASGT helmet, the Wz.93 features a ballistic Kevlar shell, modernized suspension system, and NATO-standard fittings, offering both comfort and protection.
Marked “RESAL 4/95-D” on the interior, this helmet is believed to have been manufactured or inspected by RESAL, a Polish defense contractor or quality assurance entity active in the post-communist transition. The liner system and shell style distinguish it from earlier Warsaw Pact designs, reflecting Poland’s shift toward NATO compatibility during the 1990s.
This is a desirable and authentic example of a transitional-era NATO helmet, ideal for collectors of Cold War and post-Soviet bloc militaria.
Condition:
Good used condition. Surface wear and light scratches are present, consistent with handling and storage. The Kevlar shell remains solid, and the interior suspension and chinstrap are intact and functional. See photos for specifics.
