Description

18th-Century Style Smallsword with Silver-Plated Guard & Sheath

This striking smallsword evokes the refinement of 18th-century European court arms. It features a 30-inch unsharpened blade with a deep central fuller, ideal for ceremonial or costume use. The hilt is adorned with a silver-plated copper shell guard, quillon arms, and a fluted pommel, all showing attractive surface oxidation consistent with age. The grip is wrapped in black leather, offering a secure hold and traditional aesthetic.

The sword measures 39 inches overall and comes with a matching 41-inch sheath, finished in black with coordinating metal fittings. Though unmarked, the materials and styling suggest a high-quality reproduction or decorative piece.

An impressive addition to any historical display, theatrical production, or costume ensemble.

Condition

In good condition with visible oxidation on silver-plated elements, adding character. Blade is unsharpened and clean. Leather grip is secure and intact. Includes sheath with light surface wear.
