Description

MK 3 MOD 0 USN Navy Combat Knife – 2V376, No Handle, w/ Scabbard

Authentic U.S. Navy MK 3 MOD 0 combat/survival knife, serial number 2V376, manufactured by the Ontario Knife Company. Originally introduced in the early 1980s, this model was standard issue for Navy SEALs during BUD/S training and also used by Recon Marines in combat diver courses. It remains a sought-after tool among military personnel for its robust, multi-purpose design.

This example features a 5.5-inch stainless steel clip-point blade with a partially serrated spine and “MK 3 MOD 0” marking on the ricasso. The reverse bears the original serial number. The handle scales are missing, revealing the full tang with three rivet holes—ideal for restoration or display. The included black polymer scabbard is properly marked “MK 3 MOD 0 USN” and includes the belt attachment, securing strap, and a lanyard cord.

Designed for both utility and defense, the MK 3 MOD 0’s rugged build made it a reliable companion in harsh maritime environments. A durable piece of Cold War-era military hardware, perfect for collectors, restorers, or those with an interest in naval special operations history.

Condition:
In fair condition with age-appropriate wear. The blade shows signs of previous sharpening and moderate surface wear, particularly near the spine and edge. Handle scales are missing. The scabbard exhibits scuffs and operational wear but remains structurally sound. All stamped markings on both the blade and scabbard are clear and legible.

  • Overall Length: 9 inches
