Description

Forged Iron Spear Head Style Knife

This double-edged blade was hand-forged from a chisel. Measuring 6.75 inches in total length with a 4-inch symmetrical blade, the piece features a central spine, tapered point, and faceted tang, all formed from a single solid piece of metal.

Though dagger-like in appearance, it was either a workshop-made experimental blade or a one-off conversion for general utility or display. The surface shows signs of its original life as a chisel—hammer marks, a worn patina, and slight tool remnants—now reworked into a functional blade form.

Condition

Good condition, with visible wear, oxidation, and forging textures throughout. The blade edges are solid with some surface abrasions. No signs of active rust or structural damage. Please refer to photos for close detail.
