Vintage Conn Director Cornet — Bach 6 Mouthpiece, Case, MOP Keys

Vintage C.G. Conn "Director" cornet, marked on the bell and bearing serial number 954871. This American-made brass instrument features mother-of-pearl inlaid keys and is fitted with a Vincent Bach 6 mouthpiece, a professional-grade component prized for its balanced feel and tone. The cornet is housed in a black felt-lined hard case with compartmental storage.

Compact and responsive, the Director model is a popular student-to-intermediate horn known for its durable build and accessible tone. The horn displays Conn’s star motif engraving and classic wrap style, with all valves in working order and smooth action. A great candidate for restoration, regular use, or collection.

Condition:

In good condition with age-consistent wear. Exhibits scuffs, scratches, minor denting, and areas of oxidation. All valves are functional with no sticking. The case shows moderate wear, including missing stitching, loose interior felt, and surface wear. Please see photos for full details.
