Fenton #680 Emerald Crest Candlestick Pair — Milk Glass with Green Edge, c.1949–1955
A charming pair of vintage Fenton candlesticks, model #680, from the Emerald Crest line produced between 1949 and 1955. These mid-century American glass pieces are crafted from classic white milk glass and finished with a vibrant green ruffled edge — the signature of the Emerald Crest series (originally called “Green Crest” in its first production year).
Each candlestick features a flared, scalloped base and a rounded candle cup designed to hold standard 1-inch taper candles. The crisp contrast between the opaque milk glass body and the hand-applied green edge highlights Fenton’s attention to decorative detail and quality craftsmanship.
Sought after by collectors, these pieces are increasingly rare in matched sets and in such clean, undamaged condition — perfect for vintage table settings or display in a curated collection.
Condition
In very good condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. The green crest remains bright and intact. No chips or cracks observed. Some faint marks may be visible on close inspection, but they do not detract from the overall presentation.
