1930s Lime Rickey Uranium Glass Syrup Dispenser – Art Deco Soda Fountain
This authentic 1930s soda fountain dispenser features a brilliant green uranium glass base that glows under UV light and a clear pressed glass syrup jar with original “Lime Rickey Syrup” label fragments still visible — a nostalgic nod to the era of American soda counters and apothecaries. These dispensers were commonly used for mixing soda flavors in drugstores and lunch counters, and this example may have originally served a citrus-lime concoction popular in the pre-WWII period.
The architectural base is molded in uranium glass with stepped and ribbed panels, radiating Art Deco elegance. Above it sits a geometric faceted jar with diamond and ribbed textures, topped with a black spigot (untested). With its rare combination of vibrant color, intact hardware, and period label, this piece is both a collector’s treasure and a striking display accent.
An ideal addition for collectors of Depression-era glassware, soda fountain memorabilia, or Art Deco design.
Condition
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. There is a 1 1/8" chip on the back-right corner of the uranium glass base. The original paper label is partially intact with some loss. Surface wear consistent with age. Spigot is present but untested.
