Mounted Slate Roof Tiles – NE Colorado Ranch, 3D Wall Art, 28x49.5”
This wall-mounted panel features a collection of reclaimed slate shingles, originally used as roofing material on a ranch in Northeast Colorado. The tiles are arranged in a layered, three-dimensional pattern and mounted to a wooden 2" x 4" frame.
Slate is a dense, fine-grained natural stone traditionally used in roofing in colder regions. Though not commonly used in this part of the country, it offers a distinctive surface texture and subtle variation in color. The slate tiles show evidence of prior use, including drilled nail holes and natural wear.
A handwritten label on the piece reads: “Slate from NE Colorado Ranch.” The overall effect is sculptural, with each tile contributing to a textured, geometric layout suitable for wall display.
Condition
In good condition with surface wear, small chips, and irregularities typical of reclaimed slate. A visible repair is present on a corner. Structurally stable and ready to hang.
