Kodak Disc Camera Duo – 6000 & 3100 with Film & Original Packaging
This lot includes two Kodak Disc cameras and one sealed box of film from the company’s innovative but short-lived disc photography era, launched in 1982 and discontinued by the late 1990s. The Kodak Disc 6000 camera, introduced in the mid-1980s, is enclosed in its original clear display case and features a fixed-focus 12.5mm lens, built-in flash, and automatic film advance. It was designed as an easy-to-use consumer camera requiring two AA batteries (not included). The Kodak Disc 3100, also part of this lot, is sealed in original blister packaging produced for Kmart stores. It was marketed as a low-cost alternative with the same fixed-focus disc format and required a 9-volt battery. Kodak’s disc system used a 15-exposure film disc rotated by the camera’s internal mechanism, offering pre-loaded simplicity for users who didn’t want to thread film. The included Kodak Gold Kodacolor print film box contains two sealed 30-exposure discs and features vibrant 1990s branding.
Condition: Good, untested, as shown. Kodak Disc 6000 appears unused and is enclosed in original display case with light surface wear. Kodak Disc 3100 is factory-sealed in unopened blister pack. Kodak Gold film box is sealed with contents presumed intact. No items have been tested and are sold as collectible display pieces.
