Description

Kodak Duaflex II Camera w/ Kodar 72mm f/8 Lens – 1950s Pseudo-TLR

Capture a piece of mid-century photography with this Kodak Duaflex II, produced from 1950 to 1954. This model features a Kodar 72mm f/8 lens with a three-position Waterhouse-style aperture selector (f/8, f/11, f/16) labeled for different lighting conditions such as “Hazy Sun” and “Bright Sun on Snow or Sand.” The camera’s pseudo twin-lens reflex (TLR) design features a large waist-level viewfinder with a pop-up hood, allowing for classic top-down composition.

Built with a Bakelite body and metal trim, the Duaflex II was a popular snapshot camera of its era. It uses 620 roll film, creating 6x6 cm square images. Though 620 film is no longer made, this model can be adapted for use with re-spooled 120 film—making it a functional piece for analog enthusiasts or an eye-catching collectible for display.

Condition
Good, with finish wear consistent with age. Viewfinder hood pops up properly and lens optics appear clean. Dials turn smoothly. Camera is untested and sold as shown. Please review the photos for details.
