Vintage Cast Iron Skillet – 11 3/4", USA Made, “10” Handle, Wagner-Style
This is a classic vintage cast iron skillet measuring 11 3/4 inches in diameter, featuring dual pour spouts and a smoothly curved cooking surface. The underside is marked “11 3/4" Skillet – Made in USA,” accompanied by an “L” mold mark both beneath the pan and under the handle. The top of the handle bears a raised “10,” indicating its catalog size. The long handle with hanging hole and lack of a heat ring are characteristics commonly found in pieces attributed to Wagner Ware’s later production period, likely post-1960s under General Housewares Corp. Though unbranded, the skillet’s form and mold identifiers strongly resemble those used by Wagner.
Ideal for both collectors and everyday use, this pan offers excellent heat retention and a naturally seasoned surface. Its size makes it perfect for searing, baking, or stove-to-oven cooking, with a proven vintage build that surpasses many modern alternatives.
Condition:
