Each concho on this belt holds a chapter of a greater story—crafted by Navajo silversmith A.C. Henry, this sterling silver concho belt is a wearable legend. Signed “A.C.” and marked “Sterling,” it features eleven conchos plus a matching buckle, each one bearing the spirit of the Southwest: Kokopelli dancing his ancient tune, a gecko basking in the sun, a powerful bear, a cunning coyote, a swift rabbit, a graceful deer, a mighty buffalo, a sly fox, and a roadrunner mid-stride.
Framed by hand-stamped borders and adorned with bezel-set turquoise stones, these symbols of strength, playfulness, and survival come together on a supple 49-inch black leather strap. The buckle mirrors this artistry, tying the story together.
Whether worn or displayed, this belt invites you to carry the voices of the earth, sky, and the creatures who roam between.
Condition:
In good vintage condition with some wear and surface marks consistent with age and use. The silver retains its natural patina; polishing is left to the buyer’s discretion. All turquoise stones are intact and securely set.
