Lisa Richey is one of the coolest people on this planet!💜🌀✌🏾 That's what we tell customers at our Cloudcroft, NM gift shop/gallery Off the Beaten Path who like Lisa's framable handmade paper posters that we still carry. Lisa is extremely loving and kind and generous, and she gives away at least 90% of the profits of her company “Cheap Therapy ... Handcrafted Paper Art That Celebrates Life”. She creates handmade paper posters, word posters and word cards. Until recently, Lisa also created handmade paper journals and specialty books, including this beautiful Wedding Guest book. She used handmade paper to construct her books, and the books all were bound with a beaded stick that Lisa found on her frequent outings. These books are wonderful and functional, and were created with lots of love. Lisa's Wedding Guest book has several pages providing space for guests to leave a personal message for the couple. Unfortunately, Lisa no longer is able to create these very special books, so the two we have included in our auction definitely are collector’s items. Lisa’s special Wedding Guest book is valued at $40.

Lisa stepped out of a very long banking career as a result of the “adventures of multiple sclerosis.” Once she “realized she had a right brain,” she began creating "Cheap Therapy — handcrafted paper art that celebrates Life." Created in her home studio, Lisa primarily uses plants, paper scraps and dryer lint to make her handmade paper from which she still creates her inspirational posters. At least 90% of Cheap Therapy profits go to various charities.💜🌀✌🏾
