This framed puzzle of Kliban cats and the Cheshire cat painting on bark both were donated to 1CaT. We do not know much about either piece, except that they both feature cats.

The Kliban cat puzzle is framed and ready to hang. The cartoonist B. "Hap" Kliban was only 55 when he died in 1990, but his cartoons still are incredibly popular today. A cat lover put the difficult puzzle together and framed it, saving the buyer the time-consuming work! There are several tears in the paper on the back of the frame. See closeup photos. The puzzle is valued at $10.

The Cheshire cat painting is shellacked onto a piece of bark. Bark beetle larvae “carved” intricate trails into the bark, enhancing the wood and art. The bark art is valued at $15.

Condition:
(Framed puzzle) Good - there are some scuff marks on the frame, several tears in the paper on the back of the frame, and the paper on the back of the frame is rife with years of moth markings (see photo).

(Bark painting) Good - not much wood sluffing off the bark.
