Elliott 8-Day Westminster Chime Clock — Brass, Beveled Glass, 9”
An Elliott 8-Day Lever Chime Clock, featuring Westminster and Whittington chimes and a finely tuned 7-jewel movement marked F.W. Elliott Ltd, Croydon, England. This piece showcases classic British horological craftsmanship with its brass movement, jeweled lever escapement (unadjusted, no. 12944), and dual chime selection.
The cabinet is constructed of solid wood with a rich, dark finish and features a brass-framed door with beveled glass, elegant brass bun feet, and includes the original brass winding key. The dial is etched brass with Roman numerals and ornate corner spandrels, protected behind the glass front.
Ideal as both a decorative and collectible item, this mechanical mantel clock adds timeless charm to any setting. A fine example of mid-century English clockmaking.
