Nambé Butterfly Bowl #567 (1967) & MT0019 Love Bowl by Sean O’Hara (2009)
A collectible duo of Nambé alloy bowls, each exemplifying the brand's dedication to sculptural design and functional elegance. The larger piece is the iconic Butterfly Bowl (#567), designed by Richard K. Thomas in 1967. Its gently arched sides and fluid silhouette evoke the wings of a butterfly, making it a hallmark of mid-century modern serveware.
The smaller bowl, model MT0019, was introduced in 2009 by designer Sean O’Hara. Known as the Mini Love Bowl, its heart-shaped form and polished finish make it ideal for gifting or as a decorative accent. Both pieces are crafted from Nambé’s signature metal alloy, renowned for its ability to retain temperature and its lustrous, mirror-like finish.
This set bridges two eras of Nambé design, offering both historical significance and contemporary appeal.
Condition:
In good condition overall, with visible wear from use. Both bowls show surface scratches and scuffing. The larger bowl (model 567) also has an indentation inside. Please review photos for specific condition details.
