Vintage Pyrex "New Dots" Mixing Bowl Set (401–404) – Complete, 1968–1973
A complete vintage Pyrex "New Dots" mixing bowl set, produced between 1968 and 1973. A mid-century design icon, the New Dots pattern features vibrant polka dots—orange, yellow, blue, and green—encircling classic white opal glass bowls. These were originally sold individually and are now highly collectible, especially as a full set.
Included are bowls #401 through #404:
- Orange (1½ pint)
- Yellow (1½ quart)
- Blue (2½ quart)
- Green (4 quart – the rarest in the set, added in 1969)
Each bowl showcases the signature three-tiered dot motif, with dot sizes increasing from bottom to top for a playful and balanced design. This set is a standout example of Pyrex’s iconic style and remains both functional and display-worthy.
Highly sought after by collectors, especially with all four original colors, this set brings charm and history to any kitchen.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with some surface wear and signs of use. No chips or cracks. Dot finishes remain bright with no remarkable loss and only the slightest indications of previous use. A well-kept example of a popular mid-century pattern.
