Description

1920s Art Deco Mantel Clock

This elegant Art Deco mantel clock features a beautifully curved case crafted from solid wood and veneers, adorned with intricate inlays and mother-of-pearl accents. The silver-tone dial is protected by a convex glass bezel and showcases black Arabic numerals with spade-style hands, characteristic of the 1920s–1930s design.

The clock houses a pendulum-driven movement marked 45 920 15, complete with its original pendulum and wind-up key. Designed to strike on the hour, it includes dual winding holes for timekeeping and chime functions. The rear panel retains its original setup instructions, adding to its vintage charm.

With its rich finish, decorative inlays, and sculptural silhouette, this timepiece serves as both a functional clock and a decorative statement piece, ideal for collectors and enthusiasts of Art Deco design.

Condition

In fair condition overall, exhibiting wear consistent with age. The wooden case and inlays are well-preserved with minor surface wear. The dial has visible scratches, and the movement is currently inoperable due to overwinding, requiring servicing. Includes original pendulum and key.
