Towle Sterling Candlesticks & Whiting Coasters – 4 Pc
This elegant four-piece sterling silver and glass set includes a pair of Towle Silversmiths candlesticks, model #50, and a pair of Frank M. Whiting & Co. coasters, model #4, both marked "Sterling" and crafted with classic mid-20th century style. The candlesticks are weighted and reinforced, with Towle's hallmark and flared pedestal bases featuring pierced decorative collars. The coasters combine cut-glass bases with sterling silver rims, marked with the Frank M. Whiting name and “Pat. Pending.”
Together, this set brings refined charm to any formal dining or bar setup. Ideal for collectors or entertainers, these are excellent examples of American sterling craftsmanship.
Condition
In good condition with expected surface wear. One candlestick shows a small dent. There is wax residue present, and patina/tarnish has been left for buyer discretion. Coasters are intact with no visible cracks in the glass.
