A lively and artfully hand-painted 7-piece collection of Mexican Talavera pottery, showcasing the bold, folk-inspired aesthetic characteristic of the Puebla tradition. This vibrant set includes a matched pair of candlesticks (one marked “Mexico”), a small floral vase marked “Hecho En México, Lead Free,” a scalloped-edge dish signed “ML Hecho En México,” a round footed bowl, and a classic Talavera spoon rest.
Each item features signature Talavera glazes in cobalt blue, orange, and leafy green, with intricate floral and geometric patterns. Ideal for decorative use or as functional accent pieces for tabletop or kitchen décor.
Condition:
Good condition overall with expected signs of use. Noted flaws include a ½" chip on the underside of the scalloped dish and chips along the base of one candlestick. No structural damage beyond these areas.
