Bally Black Gold Slot Machine – Hard Rock Casino
An original Bally® “Black Gold” slot machine, Model S62M3R6F0, manufactured in November 1999 and formerly in use at the Hard Rock Casino. This late-1990s ProSlot® series machine is a three-reel, $5 denomination unit, featuring vivid Art Deco-style graphics in purple, black, and gold, with chrome trim and a custom wood veneer pedestal base. The cabinet is maker-marked and separates into two sections for easier handling.
This machine is functional, including illuminated reels, sound effects, and spin mechanisms. The coin and bill acceptors are present but currently deactivated, common for decommissioned casino units as is the lever. Serial No: 5991125171. The control system remains intact and includes the main system key. The base cabinet keys are not included.
A notable piece of Hard Rock Casino history, this model exemplifies Bally’s transition-era engineering—bridging classic mechanical play with modern electronic components. It offers both display impact and collector interest.
Condition:
Good overall condition with moderate wear from prior casino use. Chips and scuffs to veneer throughout; notably, a 3" chip is present on the lower right rear base, with an additional veneer loss near the bottom door. Handle shows wear and finish loss. All major mechanical and electronic functions, including lights, reels, and sound, are operational. The pull lever, coin and bill acceptors remain installed but are deactivated. System key included; base keys are not.
