Kokopelli & Cactus, 19" Southwest Pottery Vase
Striking and substantial, this hand-coiled Southwest pottery vase showcases vibrant desert-themed artistry with bold visual appeal. The surface is hand-painted in rich terracotta orange, featuring classic motifs including a stylized Kokopelli figure, Saguaro cactus, and radiant sunbursts. Accents in black, teal, and cream create dynamic contrast, while a decorative band of geometric leaf patterns encircles the flared neck, adding balance and rhythm to the design.
Unsigned and unmarked, the vase was carefully formed using traditional coil techniques, evident in its balanced shape and hand-applied finish. The imagery reflects Native American–inspired symbolism commonly associated with Southwestern art, making it a distinctive piece with regional character and cultural resonance.
Measuring 19 inches tall, this vessel makes a striking floor or entryway display, perfect for rustic, desert-modern, or bohemian interiors. A beautiful combination of craftsmanship and design, it is both decorative and collectible.
