Vintage-Style Holmes Stereoscope Viewer
A reproduction of the classic Holmes-style stereoscope, this set by Stereo Classics Studios Inc. includes a beautifully crafted wood-and-brass viewer, 69 old-time stereo view cards, and two original labeled envelopes. Among the 69 views are a 62-card “Sample Set” with wide-ranging historical, travel, and comic scenes, plus a 7-card “Complimentary Bonus Set” featuring rare or unusual subjects like Old Salem Witch House and La Torture en Enfer. Also included is a 20-card Merry Christmas series, rich with vintage holiday charm. The viewer is sturdy and fully functional, and a booklet titled The Story of the Stereoscope adds helpful background.
