Description

Richard Glässer Incense Smoker – Woodcarver Figurine, Unused

This handcrafted incense smoker by Richard Glässer GmbH of Seiffen, Germany, represents the region’s famed Erzgebirge folk art tradition. Expertly made from natural woods and painted with delicate detail, the piece features a seated woodcarver at his bench, surrounded by tiny horses, logs, and tools—a playful nod to traditional craftsmanship.

Designed as a Räuchermann (smoker figure), the figure’s body is hollowed to hold an incense cone, with smoke intended to exit from the character’s mouth through a curved metal pipe. This particular piece has never been used for smoking and remains in excellent, like-new condition.

Includes the original cardboard box, bearing a retail price label (“526.55”) from an earlier point of sale. A collectible holiday decoration or year-round accent from one of Germany’s most respected makers.

Condition:

Excellent, like new. Never smoked and free of damage or visible wear. Comes with the original box, which is clean and structurally sound.

Dimensions:

7 x 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches
