Russian Empire Style Urn Lamp — Blackened Metal & Brass, 32"
A bold Russian Empire style urn-form table lamp, featuring a blackened metal body with intricate brass detailing. The domed, fluted lid and pierced gallery band evoke neoclassical refinement, while the square base rests on four sculptural claw feet — a hallmark of the Empire aesthetic. Originally designed as a decorative urn, this piece was later fitted with a lamp assembly, merging historical style with functional lighting.
With its substantial presence and rich patina, this lamp makes a striking statement in any traditional or eclectic interior. A fine example of early-to-mid 20th century Russian Empire revival design.
Condition:
In very good condition with age-appropriate wear. Some oxidation and patina to the brass elements; light surface marks on the blackened finish. The lamp is tested and fully functional.
