Craftsman Cutting Board with Copper Band & Signed Hand-Forged “Mouse” Knife
Artisan-crafted round cutting or cheese board featuring a richly grained end-cut walnut surface in a geometric block pattern. The board is
reinforced with a hand-forged copper band, adding both structural strength and rustic charm. Accompanied by a whimsical hand-forged “mouse” cheese knife—sculpted with pointed ears and tail-like loop handle, and signed by the maker—this set is both functional and full of character. The unique knife design may reference work by Michael Aram or similar studio artisans known for playful, sculptural forms. A bold and useful accent piece for kitchen use or cheese presentation.
Condition:
In good condition with signs of regular use. The board shows burn marks, scattered discoloration, and a 1" surface split. The copper band has authentic patina with visible oxidation. Knife also shows wear consistent with use. Overall, a solid, well-made set with appealing age and handcrafted detail.
