Vintage nautical ship-form clock by United Metal Goods Mfg. Co., Model No. 403. Crafted in mid-century America, this decorative piece features a rich wooden hull paired with polished chrome sails, rigging detail, and a ship’s wheel bezel. The dial has Roman numerals and a visible gear-style center, blending maritime and industrial flair.
Maker-marked on a label affixed to the verso. Originally electric, the movement has been upgraded to a modern quartz mechanism powered by a single AA battery (included). This distinctive display clock is ideal for collectors of Americana or nautical-themed décor.
📦 Condition:
In good condition with signs of use. Light wear and toning to chrome surfaces; wood has minor scuffs. The original electric movement has been replaced with a more recent quartz mechanism, which has been tested and runs on one AA battery (included). Please refer to photos for full details.
