Emerson Model 376 Tube Radio — 1940s Wood Cabinet, Restored & Working
This is a beautifully restored Emerson Model 376 tabletop tube radio, manufactured circa 1940–41 by Emerson Radio & Phonograph Corp., NY, USA. Housed in a gently curved Ingraham-designed cabinet, it features rich solid and veneer wood construction, intricate Art Deco styling, and a central gold-tone dial flanked by symmetrical horizontal grille openings.
Internally, the radio has been restored and fitted with two working speakers—one marked Zenith 49D713 / Z400745-1, and another C43365-2 748 633 51PA2—providing enhanced sound projection. Tube markings include 3525 GT/G Made in USA 648, consistent with 5-tube AM superheterodyne designs of the period.
Whether displayed as a collector’s item or used as functional vintage décor, this Emerson Model 376 offers both visual appeal and historical charm.
Condition:
In good condition overall, with restored electronics and cabinet. The radio is fully tested and operational. Shows minor wear consistent with age, and the power cord has light fraying near the plug (replacement suggested for long-term use). Knobs, dial, and finish remain in strong aesthetic shape.
