Rene Dumont X3 E-Flat Clarinet – Wood Body, Nickel Keys, w/ Case
This is a vintage E-flat clarinet marked "Rene Dumont X3 France" on the mouthpiece, featuring a dark wood body with nickel-plated keywork. It includes an additional tightening screw for customized ligature tension. The clarinet measures approximately 19.5 inches in height with a 2.6-inch bell diameter and comes housed in its original 18" x 4" x 3.5" hard case with a textured faux-alligator finish.
Crafted for precision and tonal clarity, this compact clarinet offers a higher register ideal for orchestral or ensemble settings. Its French mouthpiece and traditional key layout suggest mid-20th century European production, blending form and function in a professional-style build.
Condition:
