Description

Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantel Clock, 8-Day Time & Strike

Elegant late 19th to early 20th-century Seth Thomas Adamantine mantel clock, featuring a rich black Adamantine veneer with faux marble columns and ornate cast metal embellishments. The case is accented with gilded figural details and decorative lion head handles, showcasing the classic design of the period.

The signed Seth Thomas dial is framed by a gold-tone bezel and displays bold Arabic numerals. The clock houses an 8-day time and strike mechanical movement, chiming on the hour and half-hour with a resonant bell tone. Retains the original directions label affixed to the back and includes a winding key.

Condition: Good, tested, and runs well. The clock face shows scratches, and the Adamantine finish has wear, including scuffs, discoloration, and ink marks on the top. Some oxidation and patina present on decorative metal elements.

Size: 10 1/2" high x 16" wide x 6" deep.
