Vintage Jesper Teak Platform Bed – Queen, Floating Nightstands

This Vintage Jesper Teak Platform Bed is a maker-marked example of high-quality Danish modern craftsmanship. Featuring a floating headboard with integrated nightstands, this bed is constructed using solids, composites, and veneers. The sleek, recessed base gives the bed a floating appearance, making it a statement piece for any mid-century modern or Scandinavian-inspired bedroom.

Each floating nightstand is equipped with a dovetail drawer and an open compartment, providing ample bedside storage. Designed for a queen-size mattress, the bed is sold disassembled for transport and setup.

Condition:

• Structurally reinforced: The headboard-to-side rail joints and top of the platform bed have been repaired with stainless steel brackets and bolts (visible when disassembled).
• Floating nightstands may require additional reinforcement, as they lean slightly forward (or the headboard may require wall mounting).
• Water rings visible on the tops of the nightstands.
• Slats are fully functional, but the plastic binding is broken in some sections, and one slat is taped together.
• Chips along the base on both sides (see photos).
