Description

Vintage David Green Alaska Mink & Leather Men's Bomber Jacket

Designed by David Green, Alaska's leading furrier, this high-quality bomber jacket features a luxurious mink fur exterior and a full-grain leather reverse, offering a versatile, reversible design. Both sides include silk-lined pockets for added comfort and functionality. The jacket is finished with a full zip closure and ribbed leather trim for a structured fit.

David Green is a renowned family-run business in Anchorage, Alaska, with a legacy spanning over a century. Founded in 1922 by David Green, a European-born craftsman from a lineage of master furriers dating back to 1690, the company has become a cornerstone of Alaskan fur fashion. Post-war, the business settled permanently on 4th Avenue in Anchorage, where it remains a local landmark and tourist attraction. Following David Green's passing in 1971, his sons, Jerry and Perry, continued the tradition, popularizing the slogan, "If you don't know furs, know your furrier," through memorable advertising campaigns. Today, the third generation, led by David Green's grandson, David, and his wife, Shani—a Fashion Institute of Technology graduate—infuse modern designs and vibrant colors into traditional fur garments.
