Description

Pair of 4' Tall Garden Urns on Pedestals – Vintage Outdoor Planters

This impressive pair of cast aluminum garden planters, each standing 4 feet (48") tall, brings a grand architectural presence to any outdoor space. Designed with classic fluted detailing and wide openings, these urn-style planters are ideal for landscaping, patios, or entryways. Their durable aluminum construction makes them weather-resistant while remaining lighter than traditional cast iron.

The legendary Bob Ross (6'2") is included in the photos for scale, showcasing the substantial size and impact of these statement pieces.

Condition:

These vintage garden urns are in good structural condition with expected outdoor wear from age and exposure. The surface shows moderate weathering and oxidation, contributing to an attractive aged patina. There is paint chipping and peeling, exposing the metal beneath, along with minor surface dents and abrasions consistent with outdoor display. The fluted details and relief panels remain well-defined, and the bases are intact and stable with some scuffing and discoloration from ground contact. While they retain a desirable antique appearance, refinishing is an option for a refreshed look.

Size & Dimensions:

  • Overall Height: 48 inches (122 cm)
  • Width: 21 inches (53 cm)
  • Depth: 21 inches (53 cm)
  • Weight: Approx. 70 lbs each

These classic garden planters add elegance and sophistication to any space, perfect for formal gardens, estate entrances, or patio décor. Their naturally aged patina adds to their vintage charm, though refinishing is an option for a refreshed look.
