Edison Amberola V Cylinder Phonograph – Mahogany Case & 32 Cylinders

This original Edison Amberola V Cylinder Phonograph, manufactured between 1913 and 1914 by Thomas A. Edison, Inc., is a rare and collectible piece of early recorded sound history. Featuring a mahogany case with a hinged lid, pierced carved grill, and iron bed plate, this model was designed exclusively for Edison’s durable Blue Amberol cylinder records, offering superior sound quality compared to earlier wax cylinders. The spring-driven crank mechanism has been fully restored and functions smoothly.

Condition:

This Edison Amberola V Cylinder Phonograph is in very good overall condition. The mahogany case retains a rich patina, showcasing its well-preserved craftsmanship. The crank mechanism operates smoothly and is fully functional (See video Above). The included 32 cylinder records are playable. Some original cardboard cases exhibit wear.
