This vintage hand-painted cabinet, created either as a salesman’s sample or luxury doll furniture. With its petite dimensions (27" tall x 15" wide x 8" deep), the cabinet features a glass-fronted hutch with two interior shelves (each 4" x 11 1/2") and three functional drawers made with tongue-and-groove joinery. The hand-painted floral motifs, scalloped trim, and decorative brass hardware reflect the charming, cottage-inspired aesthetic of the shabby chic or Victorian Revival style.
Dating to the early-to-mid 20th century, the cabinet showcases quality craftsmanship, including fitted glass panel doors and detailed construction, making it both collectible and decorative. Its compact size makes it ideal for showcasing miniatures or as a unique display piece in vintage-inspired interiors.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with finish wear and minor losses consistent with age. There is a visible split in the wood back panel, and some hardware is missing. The piece remains in its original, unrestored state, preserving its authentic character.
