The industrial-grade metal construction with a textured surface and tiered compartments reflects the functional and durable design aesthetics of the period.  Retired store displays like this are highly collectible due to their rarity and connection to sewing history, making this a unique find for enthusiasts of industrial design, vintage advertising, or sewing memorabilia.
