The obverse features Lady Liberty seated, holding an olive branch, symbolizing peace and commerce. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle above an inscription specifying its weight and silver purity. Additionally, this coin features Chinese chop marks, which were added by merchants to verify the coin's authenticity during trade—a unique historical aspect that enhances its appeal to collectors.

Specifications:

  • Mint: San Francisco (S)
  • Designer: William Barber
  • Composition: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
