About the Artist:
Dennis Curry is an accomplished artist known for his profound connection to the natural world and wildlife, which serves as the cornerstone of his artistic practice. He has made significant contributions to conservation efforts through his art, raising awareness about environmental issues and the importance of protecting diverse ecosystems. Originally trained in traditional intaglio printmaking techniques such as etching and engraving, Dennis gained recognition for his intricate graphics, which are widely collected both nationally and internationally. His foray into contemporary printmaking led to the establishment of Blue Berry Press in Cambria, California, where he explored the innovative medium of Mylar Lithography and collaborated with other artists.

In 1999, Dennis shifted his focus from printmaking to oil painting, immersing himself in the challenge of capturing the light and color of various landscapes. This transition allowed him to express his appreciation for the beauty of nature in a new way, using both on-location studies and studio work to convey the essence of his surroundings. Dennis’s artworks are characterized by their vibrant hues and dynamic compositions, reflecting his dedication to showcasing the splendor of the natural world while inviting viewers to appreciate and protect it.
