Description

Antique Tell City Furniture Co. Wardrobe

This beautiful vintage wardrobe was crafted by the renowned Tell City Furniture Company, known for its high-quality, handcrafted American furniture since its founding in 1865. This piece showcases the company's signature solid wood construction combined with elegant veneer finishes, exemplifying the detailed craftsmanship that Tell City is famous for.

The left door opens to reveal five dovetail drawers and a 12” x 16” storage compartment, offering ample space for clothing or accessories. The right door opens to a wardrobe section with hanging rod as well as free-standing shelving, with heights of 9.5", 11.5", and 12", added by a previous owner for additional functionality. The drawers, storage, and shelving make this a versatile and highly functional piece for any space.

Condition:
Fair, with signs of use and wear to the finish. There are visible scratches throughout, as well as chips to the veneer, particularly along the top trim on the right side. The rear right foot shows evidence of previous repair and some chipping. Tape residue is also present. Despite the wear, the piece remains structurally sound and retains its classic charm.
