1920s-1930s Ed Roos Forest Park Line Solid Cedar Chest 

This antique cedar chest from the Ed Roos Forest Park Line dates back to the 1920s-1930s, reflecting the timeless craftsmanship of the era. Made entirely from solid cedar, this chest offers both functionality and elegance. The chest is accented with copper and metal nail hardware, and its finished back allows for versatile placement in any room. Ed Roos Manufacturing, established in 1916, became one of the largest cedar chest manufacturers by the 1920s, known for producing high-quality, handcrafted chests that were popular as bridal hope chests.

Markings:
Stamped "E.R. Co." and "Forest Park Line," reflecting its origin from Forest Park, Illinois.

Condition:
Good, with signs of use including noticeable heat rings on the top surface. The key for the locking mechanism is absent.
