Description

Mid-Century Lane Virginia Maid Walnut Cedar Chest

This Lane Virginia Maid Cedar Chest, manufactured on July 15, 1966 (serial number 665170), reflects the classic mid-century modern design Lane Furniture was known for during the 1960s. With a walnut veneer finish, this chest combines timeless style with practical storage, designed to safeguard cherished items. Lane’s iconic hope chest tradition continues with this piece, originally intended to store linens and valuables for a new bride's home.

The chest features a fixed, felt-lined divided tray beneath the lid, perfect for smaller items, while a faux drawer front conceals a larger felt-lined dovetail drawer, providing ample storage space.
