This Vienna Free Swinger clock, crafted by Friedrich Mauthe in Schwenningen, Germany, exemplifies the elegant craftsmanship of the late 19th century. The solid walnut cabinet houses a classic time and strike movement, marked by the iconic F.M.S. (Friedrich Mauthe Schwenningen) logo, along with the patent number, “D.R.P. N. 75921.” The clock strikes every 30 minutes on a spring gong, with hourly chimes to mark the passage of time.
