About the Artist:
Brian Maytum is a contemporary glass artist whose creations span from decorative glass candles and vases to highly conceptualized paperweights and sculptures. Primarily self-taught, Brian earned a degree in art from the University of Colorado and has spent nearly two decades refining his design techniques and intricate glass-making processes.
His work has been exhibited extensively throughout the United States and has gained international recognition. Prestigious institutions such as New York's Corning Museum of Glass, the Habitat Galleries in Michigan, the Bergstrom-Mahler Paperweight Museum in Wisconsin, and Japan's Hokkaido Museum have all displayed his exceptional glass art.
