Pair of Eskimo Grass Baskets by Lena Fox and Brenda Fox, Kipnuk, Alaska

This pair of intricately woven Eskimo grass baskets from Kipnuk, Alaska, showcases the traditional artistry of Lena Fox and Brenda Fox, renowned for their fine craftsmanship. Both baskets feature vibrant dyed patterns, meticulously woven into the natural grass, creating a beautiful contrast. The larger basket, signed by Brenda Fox, measures 6.5" tall by 6" in diameter and was originally priced at $120. The smaller basket, signed by Lena Fox, measures 7" tall by 4.75" in diameter and was originally priced at $85. Both baskets retain their original price tags, offering a glimpse into their historical value.
