Viking Grandmother Clock with a Hand Crafted Case
A vintage grandmother clock by Viking with a hand crafted case. The medium sized clock features a wooden case that is stained a medium cherry color. A hood with an arched pediment and wood finial, supported with turned pilasters that frame the glass front door. This opens to reveal a face in silver and gold tone color and features black roman numerals to the clock face with an hour and minute hand. An arched area above the clock face depicts the moon phases. The case has a lyre form brass pendulum and three weights is accessed by a glass front door The whole resting on a plinth base with an additional larger base for additional height.
