Bandai Japan Tin Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud Convertible – 1950s, 11.25"
A charming relic from the golden age of Japanese tin toys, this Bandai-made Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud Convertible captures the glamour of postwar motoring in miniature form. Produced in Japan during the late 1950s to early 1960s, it’s marked “Sign of B Quality – Made in Japan,” the signature of Bandai, one of the era’s premier tin toy manufacturers. The car’s design mirrors the elegance of the full-sized Silver Cloud—long, low, and unmistakably luxurious—with bright red painted steel bodywork, a cream-and-green lithographed interior, woodgrain dashboard, and the Rolls-Royce badge proudly displayed on the trunk and wheel hubs.
Condition:
Fair condition, showing signs of use and age-appropriate wear throughout. Surface scuffs, light oxidation to bumpers, and several small dents are present. One hubcap is absent, as shown. Retains solid structure, complete dashboard lithography, and appealing vintage patina.
Dimensions:
Overall: 3.25" H × 4" W × 11.25" L
Material: Painted steel (tinplate)
