Classic Cast Iron Model T Coupe Toy Car, c.1925–30
A classic example of early 20th-century American craftsmanship, this cast iron Model T–style coupe dates to the late 1920s or early 1930s and embodies the solid, enduring charm of prewar toy manufacturing. The toy features a two-part cast body, spoked iron wheels, and remnants of its original red paint, with finely molded details like an arched roofline, hood louvers, and a driver’s visor—hallmarks of period realism.
Inside the left rear interior appears a raised letter “D”, which may indicate a Dent Hardware Co. mold mark. Dent of Fullerton, Pennsylvania, was among America’s leading cast iron toy producers, renowned for small-scale autos, fire trucks, and airplanes. However, as several makers (including Hubley, Arcade, and A.C. Williams) occasionally used single-letter mold identifiers, this stamp suggests but does not confirm Dent manufacture.

Good overall with age-appropriate surface wear, paint loss, and oxidation consistent with nearly a century of age. Wheels remain functional; no structural cracks or repairs noted. Retains a stable, authentic patina that highlights its antique character.
